As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and other site needs. You will document observations using a computer and/or tablet while delivering customer-focused service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting property management and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout commercial property common areas, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Control access where assigned by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and/or directing visitors to proper destinations per site procedures.
• Monitor and report suspicious behavior, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
• Complete daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Operate and monitor security-related equipment such as radios, CCTV, and/or alarm panels when assigned, and report issues per post orders.
• Provide assistance during property events, deliveries, and tenant move-ins and/or move-outs by maintaining orderly access and reporting concerns.
• Support evacuation and shelter-in-place procedures during emergencies per site instructions and Allied Universal protocols.
• Maintain a professional presence, follow post orders, and communicate clearly with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be 21+ years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Be able to lift up to 20 lbs, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Have alarm panel experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
