As a Security Officer - Experienced - Armed - Driver in Oregon, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a transportation location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. This driving post offers the opportunity to provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and support daily operations while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and integrity-driven culture.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at transportation facilities.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of rail yards, terminals, buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access control points, verify credentials, document visitor and vehicle activity, and report suspicious behavior or policy violations.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate with site contacts and public emergency responders as needed.
- Carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and site-specific post orders; prepare accurate incident reports and daily activity logs.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
