Security Officer Armed Patrol Incident Response Job in Orlando, Florida

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Incident Response in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a premier performing arts location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for guests, staff, and performers. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate professionally, and contribute to smooth venue operations. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to guests, performers, staff, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a performing arts venue.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of public areas, performance spaces, entrances, loading areas, parking facilities, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and screen or verify credentials for employees, contractors, vendors, and visitors in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical events, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with venue personnel and public agencies as needed.
- Maintain professional readiness and handle assigned equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, applicable laws, and site requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
- Possess a CPO certification.
- Possess a valid armed guard card and/or license.
- Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
