Security Officer - Commercial Lobby Operations

As a Security Officer - Commercial Lobby Operations in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and tenants, providing a welcoming presence and delivering outstanding customer service. Your role involves monitoring entry points, assisting with access control, and communicating security-related information to support a secure and professional environment. What You'll Do:

• Greet and assist visitors and tenants at the front desk, providing a professional and welcoming presence at the location.
• Monitor access to the building, verifying credentials and maintaining visitor logs as required by site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, vendors, and building occupants to address inquiries and direct individuals as needed.
• Carry out security-related procedures in accordance with site-specific policies, including reporting any suspicious activity or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Support emergency response activities as needed, providing information and assistance to first responders and building management.
• Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
