As a Security Officer - Front Desk Concierge in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, staff, and patients, helping to create a welcoming and secure environment. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access to the facility, verifying credentials, and assisting with security-related inquiries, all while providing outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Greet visitors, staff, and patients in a professional and courteous manner while stationed at the front desk of the healthcare location.
  • Monitor access to the facility, verifying credentials and assisting with visitor check-in and/or check-out processes.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
  • Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, giving directions, and assisting with inquiries related to security-related procedures and/or site-specific policies.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records of visitor activity, incidents, and any security-related concerns observed at the front desk.
  • Communicate and coordinate with facility staff and Allied Universal management regarding any unusual activity, security-related concerns, or emergencies.
  • Support emergency response activities as needed, including following instructions during evacuations or lockdowns.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Must have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid guard card or license is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
