What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to residential community entrances and exits, verifying credentials of residents, guests, and vendors as required by site-specific policies.
• Provide customer service by assisting residents and visitors with inquiries and directions related to the location.
• Carry out security-related procedures in accordance with site-specific protocols, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential community and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client representatives.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed in response to incidents at the location.
• Operate communication devices and security-related equipment as required by site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license as required by state and/or local laws and regulations.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Must be a graduate of Public Safety Academy
• Must possess a degree in Criminal Justice
• Must have experience in Law Enforcement / Corrections
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
