Security Officer - Armed Residential Access

As a Security Officer - Armed Residential Access in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Armed Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and provide exceptional customer service within a residential community. Your responsibilities include monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible, and communicating professionally with residents and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents and guests by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the residential location.
• Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a welcoming environment for residents and visitors.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter potential issues and observe for unusual activity.
• Assist with emergency response activities as directed according to Allied Universal protocols and site-specific guidelines.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or observations as required by site policies.
• Communicate professionally with residents, guests, and/or site management to address concerns and provide information as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or armed guard license as required by state and/or local regulations.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Must have a minimum of 1 year experience in Law Enforcement, Corrections or Military
• Must have a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
