What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors while following site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response protocols at an aerospace and defense location.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter boundaries to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain awareness of restricted-area entry requirements.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as appropriate.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, access-related activity, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
- Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess at least 5 years of security-related experience.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
