What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures, monitoring visitor activity, and supporting security-related protocols for a logistics and distribution location.
- Greet employees, visitors, and drivers, verify identification and/or credentials, and maintain access logs and visitor records in accordance with site requirements.
- Answer phones, assist with directions and general questions, and communicate with site contacts regarding arrivals, deliveries, and other front desk activity.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details through appropriate communication channels.
- Monitor entry points, cameras, and alarm notifications from the front desk to help support security-related awareness and timely response.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be 21+ years of age.
- X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
