As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine foot patrols, remain highly visible, and help to reduce security-related incidents through professional presence and clear communication. You will respond to calls, document observations, and assist staff, patients, and visitors with customer-focused service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout healthcare facilities and surrounding perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity, identify irregular conditions, and report concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using de-escalation techniques and requesting additional resources when needed.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and assist with visitor direction and wayfinding while following site policies.
• Document security-related activities, incidents, and observations in reports and/or logs, and communicate timely updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
• Support response to alarms, calls for assistance, and medical or environmental events by coordinating with clinical teams and/or local responders per site procedures.
• Perform checks of doors, gates, and high-traffic areas; report maintenance or operational concerns that could impact facility operations.
• Provide presence during special situations such as patient transports, after-hours activity, and high-visibility events, as directed by site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
