As a Security Officer Patrol Compliance Associate in Pasadena, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a cultural institution, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. In this dynamic location, you will support daily operations through clear communication, professionalism, and teamwork while reflecting Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a cultural institution location.
- Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant activity according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout galleries, exhibit areas, public spaces, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, observe visitor and staff movement, and/or report maintenance, policy, or security-related issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Support museum operations during opening, closing, special events, and/or high-traffic periods by following post orders and communicating professionally with guests, staff, and first responders.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
