Security Officer Patrol

As a Security Officer Computer Assisted Patrol in Pasadena, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a dynamic cultural institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and congregants by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a cultural institution location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, gathering areas, parking locations, and outer grounds to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points during services, events, and daily operations, assisting with visitor directions, observing for policy concerns, and supporting orderly entry and exit flow.
- Support a welcoming environment by answering questions, providing general assistance, and reporting maintenance, access, and/or security-related issues to the appropriate contact.
Minimum Requirements:
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
