Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Response

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Response in Pearl City, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a dynamic government transit location. In this role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence, and assist riders and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. - Provide customer service to riders, visitors, and personnel by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and other security-related policies at a public transportation location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout stations, platforms, parking areas, administrative spaces, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas for policy compliance, unusual conditions, and security-related concerns, and prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports.
- Support access control and visitor management functions by verifying credentials, providing directions, and reporting maintenance, lighting, and/or environmental issues observed during patrols.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
