As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a retail location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a retail location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with site contacts, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entry points, parking areas, stockroom corridors, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, observe customer and associate activity, and document security-related incidents, hazards, and/or policy concerns according to site expectations.
- Support closing and opening activities, assist with crowd and line monitoring during busy periods, and provide visible presence throughout the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
