As a Security Officer Patrol Incident Documentation in Pennington, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, entrances, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as assigned, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
- Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation while communicating professionally with site leadership and Allied Universal management.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
