As a Security Professional - Armed Government Patrol in Peoria, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer providing security-related services within a government location. In this dynamic role, you will help to deter incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the assigned area. Your responsibilities include monitoring for unusual activity, responding to situations as needed, and interacting with visitors and staff to offer outstanding customer service. As this is an armed post, you will be required to carry and maintain the appropriate licensing. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor for suspicious activity and report any security-related incidents according to company and location protocols.
  • Assist visitors and employees with access control and provide information as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Operate communication devices to stay in contact with Allied Universal management and other security-related personnel as required.
  • Document observations, incidents, and any unusual occurrences in written reports.
  • Remain alert to changing conditions and respond promptly to any security-related concerns within the location.

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess a current and valid armed guard card or license as required by state and/or local regulations.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
