As a Security Officer Badge Verification in Perry, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to all visitors, associates, and drivers by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and communicating entry requirements at the location.
- Monitor entrances, gates, and/or receiving areas to help to deter unauthorized access, document visitor and vehicle activity, and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and support emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, with attention to access points, loading areas, and other sensitive areas where conditions may vary by site.
- Complete required logs, reports, and other security-related documentation related to access activity, deliveries, and/or incidents in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
