Security Officer Security Screening

As a Security Officer Security Screening in Perrysburg, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location as a Screener, where you will monitor entry points, conduct screening activities, and support smooth daily operations through strong communication and customer service. You will help to identify security-related concerns, remain visible, and contribute to a caring, agile, and reliable team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff while carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor entry and exit points at a logistics and distribution location, verify credentials and/or authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access through consistent screening practices.
- Screen people, packages, and/or personal items in accordance with post orders and site procedures, documenting irregularities and reporting concerns to site leadership.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using appropriate communication and escalation steps.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, facility issues, and/or policy violations that may require a security-related response.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
