As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an educational location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and offer exceptional customer service and communication to all individuals on site. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, students, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus buildings and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
• Monitor for suspicious activity and report any concerns or incidents according to site procedures.
• Assist with access control by verifying credentials and managing entry to restricted areas as required by location policies.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with campus personnel and visitors while providing information or directions as needed.
• Complete required reports and documentation related to patrols, incidents, and/or daily activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
