As a Security Officer - CRE Front Desk Full-Time in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal in a commercial real estate environment, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, providing a welcoming and professional presence. Your responsibilities include monitoring access control, managing visitor badges, handling alarm panels, and delivering outstanding customer service. You will help to deter security-related incidents by maintaining a visible and attentive presence at the front desk, supporting a secure environment for tenants and guests. What You'll Do:

  • Welcome visitors, employees, and contractors at the front desk, providing excellent customer service while following site-specific security-related procedures and Allied Universal policies.
  • Monitor access to the location by verifying identification and issuing badges, helping to deter unauthorized entry and/or activity.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed according to protocol.
  • Maintain accurate records of visitor and employee activity, incidents, and other security-related documentation as required by the site.
  • Communicate professionally with property management, building tenants, and visitors, addressing inquiries and/or concerns as appropriate.
  • Support emergency response activities at the location, assisting with evacuation and/or other procedures as directed.
  • Operate security-related systems and equipment, such as cameras and access control systems, to support site operations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
