Security Officer Commercial Business Service Desk

As a Security Officer Customer Service Desk in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a professional financial institution location as a Front Desk Officer, where you will greet visitors, monitor access, and support daily front desk operations with strong communication and customer service. In this highly visible role, you will help to deter security-related incidents through professionalism, attention to detail, and integrity while contributing to a caring, reliable, and team-oriented culture.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures and front desk protocols at a financial institution location.
- Monitor access to the lobby and reception area, verify identification and/or visitor credentials, and document arrivals, departures, and deliveries in accordance with site policies.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and emergency responders when appropriate.
- Answer phones, assist with directions, support badge and key control processes, and report maintenance, access, and/or other security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain a professional presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized access and support daily operations through accurate logs, reports, and incident documentation.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
