Security Officer Experienced Bicycle Patrol (Penn)

As a Security Officer Experienced Bicycle Patrol in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a dynamic education location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this active role, you will support a welcoming campus environment while working with a team that values being agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and always acting with integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an educational location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following campus protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of academic buildings, residence areas, parking locations, walkways, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and/or unusual conditions to the appropriate contacts in a timely manner.
- Support campus operations by assisting with directions, visitor interactions, and incident documentation while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess 2+ years of security-related experience.
- Be 21+ years of age.
- Be able to ride a bike.
- Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
- Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
