As a Security Officer Front Desk Guest Intake in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a dynamic university location, you will serve as a welcoming, professional presence for students, staff, and visitors. You will monitor access, assist with inquiries, document incidents, and help support a secure environment through clear communication and outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at an educational location.
- Staff the front desk by greeting visitors, verifying identification and visitor authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining applicable access records.
- Monitor entry activity, cameras, alarms, and/or communication systems; report suspicious activity, policy concerns, and facility issues to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and contacting campus resources or emergency services as needed.
- Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and shift communications while providing courteous directions and general assistance to the campus community.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
