As a Security Officer - Hospital Patrol Unarmed in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a healthcare location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with staff and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service while responding to situations with professionalism and care. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner within the healthcare environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and promote a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
• Maintain a visible presence in public areas to help to deter potential security-related incidents and provide assistance as needed.
• Observe and report activities and incidents as required by Allied Universal and site-specific standards.
• Collaborate with staff and visitors to address concerns and direct individuals to appropriate resources or locations within the facility.
• Follow all procedures for reporting and documenting incidents, emergencies, and routine activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
