As a Part Time Unarmed Hotel Security Officer in the University City neighborhood of Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in the hospitality field. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic higher education campus, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming campus environment. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with guests, and respond professionally to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of academic buildings, residence areas, parking facilities, common areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate campus contacts and/or emergency responders as required.
- Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazardous conditions, property damage, and maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
- Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation while maintaining a professional presence in a dynamic educational environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
