As a Security Officer Armed Act 235 Patrol in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a high-profile commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, tenants, and event personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of commercial real estate buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and other required records in accordance with site-specific procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
- Possess Act 235 qualification in Pennsylvania.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
