Security Officer Little Sisters - The Poor

As a Security Officer in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a cultural institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support guests, staff, and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout interior and exterior areas of the location, noting unusual activity, maintenance issues, and/or potential security-related concerns.
- Monitor entrances, common areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized access and support an orderly environment for visitors, staff, residents, and/or guests.
- Assist with following location policies for deliveries, visitor check-in, and special events while maintaining a professional presence and clear communication with all parties on site.
Minimum Requirements:
- Hospital vaccines are required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
