Security Officer Little Sisters

As a Security Officer Hospital Campus Patrol in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a cultural institution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. In this role, you will support a welcoming environment through strong communication, teamwork, and integrity while reflecting Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture.

- Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access expectations, and appropriate emergency response activities in a cultural institution location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related observations according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout galleries, common areas, entrances, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor visitor movement, assist with directional guidance, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to the appropriate site contacts.
- Support closing, opening, and after-hours routines by checking assigned areas, observing access points, and communicating security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and/or client representatives.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Hospital vaccines are required.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
