As a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol Coverage in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a dynamic retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for shoppers, tenants, and staff. This role combines customer service, communication, and teamwork with a caring, reliable, and innovative approach, giving you the chance to make a meaningful impact every day.

- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, common areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
- Monitor for unauthorized access, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations, and communicate with tenants, guests, and store personnel regarding security-related concerns.
- Support access control, assist with crowd and visitor management during busy shopping periods, and provide visible presence throughout the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
