Security Officer Screening Specialist (FXG)

As a Security Officer Screening Specialist in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help monitor entry points, verify badges and/or access credentials, and support screening activities that help promote a secure environment. This role offers the chance to stay engaged, interact with people throughout the shift, and deliver strong customer service while reflecting Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
- Screen people, packages, bags, and/or personal items entering or leaving designated areas in accordance with post instructions and security-related procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around interior and exterior areas, including access points, shipping and receiving zones, and perimeter locations, as assigned by the site.
- Help to deter unauthorized access, policy violations, and/or prohibited items by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials, and documenting security-related concerns in a timely manner.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
