Security Officer U - P Bike Patrol

As a Security Officer Full Time Bike Patrol Driver in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic education location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, including mobile patrols as a driving post, helping to support a secure and welcoming environment. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. - Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an educational location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with campus contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and activity across the location, assist with directions and general information, and help to support an orderly environment during classes, events, and daily operations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Demonstrate a minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be able to ride a bike.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
