As a Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol in PHILADELPHIA, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling the assigned education location. Your presence will provide reassurance to students, staff, and visitors, while you respond promptly to any incidents and offer exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to those on site by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the campus and perimeter to help to deter inappropriate behavior and identify potential hazards.
• Observe and report any security-related irregularities, such as property damage, unusual occurrences, or unauthorized individuals.
• Assist visitors, students, and staff with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a professional presence.
• Work collaboratively with campus personnel and/or first responders as needed during incidents or emergencies.
• Complete detailed and accurate daily activity reports and incident reports as required by Allied Universal and the site location.
• Remain visible and approachable throughout patrols to provide reassurance and help to deter rule violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
