As a Security Guard - Financial Entry Desk in PHOENIX, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. What You'll Do:

• Greet and assist visitors, clients, and/or employees in a professional manner at the front desk of a financial institution location.
• Monitor access to the premises by verifying identification and maintaining visitor logs as required by site-specific policies.
• Carry out security-related procedures and respond to emergency situations calmly and with problem-solving skills.
• Communicate and coordinate with Allied Universal management, site personnel, and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, incidents, or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
• Follow all site-specific policies, procedures, and Allied Universal protocols while performing front desk responsibilities.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
