As a Security Officer Bus Terminal Patrol in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a transportation location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, platforms, waiting areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic public areas to help to control access, observe passenger and visitor activity, and support orderly operations throughout the location.
- Assist with directing passengers and visitors, providing information, and reporting maintenance, lighting, and/or facility concerns that could affect daily operations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
