Security Officer - Data Center

As a Security Officer - Data Center in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a professional financial institution location where you will serve as a welcoming front desk presence, helping to monitor access, assist visitors, support badge and alarm processes, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism and care. This role offers the chance to deliver outstanding customer service while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Greet visitors, employees, and vendors, monitor access to the location, and help to deter unauthorized entry through established sign-in and credential verification processes.
- Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Answer phones, support front desk operations, and maintain accurate visitor logs, incident notes, and other required documentation for the location.
- Observe lobby and reception area activity, report unusual behavior and/or conditions, and follow client-facing protocols for a financial institution environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- A current guard card or license is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
