Security Officer - Distribution Site - Full Time

As a Security Officer - Distribution Site - Full Time in PHOENIX, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, and remaining visible throughout your shift. You will be responsible for access control and screening duties, contributing to a secure environment while delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including the business premises and surrounding perimeter.
• Screen individuals, vehicles, and/or packages as directed, assisting in helping to deter unauthorized access or prohibited items within the location.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Work collaboratively with site staff and other Allied Universal team members to promote a secure and welcoming environment for all employees and visitors.
• Maintain accurate records and logs of security-related activities, observations, and incidents as required by site protocols.
• Remain alert and attentive to changing conditions and assist with implementing security-related measures as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Experience with X-ray screening is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
