As a Security Officer - Front Desk - Financial Institutions in PHOENIX, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a leading financial institution, you will be the first point of contact, greeting visitors, verifying identification, and managing access control at the location. Your presence and customer service will help to deter security-related incidents while fostering a welcoming environment. You will communicate with clients, employees, and guests, adhering to company values of reliability, integrity, and teamwork. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk within a financial institution location.
  • Greet and assist employees, visitors, and guests, helping to promote a welcoming and secure environment.
  • Monitor access control systems and check identification to help to deter unauthorized entry to the premises.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Maintain detailed logs and incident reports as required by site-specific procedures.
  • Communicate professionally with site staff, Allied Universal team members, and emergency responders as necessary.
  • Support emergency response activities and procedures as directed for the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possession of a current Guard Card or applicable security-related license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Experience with access control systems and/or badge systems is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
