Security Officer - Full Time Rover

As a Security Officer - Full Time Rover in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic tech and telecommunications location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. This role offers the chance to deliver outstanding customer service, communicate with professionalism, and support daily operations through teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach in an agile, innovative environment.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, work areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials when required, and report policy violations, maintenance issues, and/or suspicious behavior according to site protocols.
- Support daily operations by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with directional questions, and completing required logs, reports, and/or other security-related records.
Minimum Requirements:
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A current guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
