Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Team

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Team in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for tenants and visitors. Your presence and attention to detail help to deter security-related incidents, and your commitment to outstanding customer service fosters positive interactions throughout the property. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities, as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the commercial property and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor the premises for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to site protocols.
• Assist visitors, tenants, and employees with access and information, maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
• Support Allied Universal and client leadership by maintaining awareness of site procedures and communicating issues or concerns as they arise.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid security guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Ability to comfortably use a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
