What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following access control procedures, verifying credentials, and applying site-specific policies at a technology location.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, manage visitor processing, and report unusual or unauthorized access attempts in accordance with security-related procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, lobby areas, and perimeter to help identify security-related concerns and unusual activity.
- Document daily activities, access events, and incident details, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
