As a Security Officer - Welcome Center in PHOENIX, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the front desk of a financial institution location.
- Monitor lobby and reception activity, verify identification and/or credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access through established access control and visitor management procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Answer phones, greet guests, direct arrivals, and maintain front desk logs, reports, and other documentation related to security-related activities.
- Observe cameras, entry points, and surrounding front desk areas for unusual activity, and report concerns, maintenance issues, and/or suspicious behavior according to site procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of 2+ years of security-related experience is required.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
