Security Officer Driving Overnight Patrol

As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Unit in Pittsburgh, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage incidents, and support a secure environment through strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter access points, noting potential concerns and helping to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access as required by site policies, and report policy violations or maintenance-related issues.
- Support daily operations by maintaining detailed activity logs, communicating with site personnel, and following post orders for assigned patrol duties and incident response.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
