What You'll Do:

• Greet and assist visitors, patients, and staff at the front desk in a professional manner while following security-related procedures specific to the healthcare location.
• Monitor access to the facility and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying identification and/or credentials as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs of visitor activity, deliveries, and security-related incidents occurring at the front desk area.
• Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management, site personnel, and emergency responders as needed.
• Provide customer service by addressing questions and/or concerns from visitors and staff, while upholding security-related policies and procedures.
• Assist with emergency response activities and help direct individuals as needed during incidents at the healthcare location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
