As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned hospital areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Your presence will support a welcoming environment as you assist staff, patients, and visitors. You will be instrumental in maintaining order, responding to various situations, and communicating with team members. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately during emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare environment in a calm and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to observe and report any irregularities.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the location to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain an orderly environment.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
• Communicate professionally and courteously with staff, patients, and visitors while upholding security-related standards and procedures at the location.
• Assist with controlling access points and verifying credentials of individuals entering restricted areas.
• Follow all post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management while maintaining a visible presence throughout assigned areas.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to work in a hospital environment, including areas such as the morgue, and perform duties such as restraining individuals as required.
• Vaccinations as required by hospital policies must be current and maintained.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
