As a Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, operate a vehicle as part of a primarily driving post, monitor alarm panels, and help maintain a secure environment. You will remain visible to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and reporting requirements.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, office spaces, parking areas, building perimeters, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs, reports, and other required documentation.
- Support compliance with site rules, assist with traffic and vehicle access as assigned, and communicate observations or concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
