What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies within the healthcare environment, including when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while on patrol in healthcare facilities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings and property perimeters to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to Allied Universal management and/or site leadership.
• Assist visitors, patients, and staff with directions or information as needed in a professional manner.
• Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances and verifying credentials when required.
• Maintain detailed and accurate daily activity reports and incident logs as directed by Allied Universal and client site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must meet hospital requirements for vaccination compliance.
• Must be able to work in hospital environments including morgue areas as required.
• Must be able to assist with the restraint of individuals in a hospital setting as needed.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
