As a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol in Plainfield, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and support security-related operations through strong customer service and communication. In this role, you will help to deter incidents, remain visible throughout the location, and contribute to a caring, agile team that values reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and security-related policies at the location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, loading and receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or operational concerns.
- Support emergency response activities by following post orders, assisting with evacuations and/or restricted access procedures, and notifying appropriate personnel when issues arise.
Minimum Requirements:
- The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
