What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, guests, and employees at the front desk by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor access points and verify identification to help to deter unauthorized entry into the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate.
• Maintain detailed logs and reports related to daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences.
• Assist with emergency response activities as directed and follow established protocols.
• Communicate and collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel and location staff to support overall security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
