As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal in a retail environment, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and support a welcoming atmosphere. You will remain visible to support a secure setting, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with guests and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and monitor for any potential concerns.
• Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, theft, or unauthorized persons on the premises.
• Assist with access control, verifying credentials of individuals entering restricted areas as required by site policies.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency personnel if necessary, following established protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and observations during each shift.
• Provide visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances and support a welcoming environment for customers and staff.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement military or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
