As a Security Professional - Access Control Patrol in Point Comfort, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more .

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading chemical and petrochemical location, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, conducting routine patrols of assigned areas, and maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will also interact with a diverse range of individuals, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while following site-specific protocols. Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of personnel, visitors, and vehicles in accordance with site-specific policies and procedures.
• Assist with visitor and contractor management by following established protocols for entry and exit.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or potential hazards within the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and site-specific guidelines.
• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by offering assistance and communicating security-related information as needed.
• Support emergency response activities as required, including following evacuation and incident response procedures.
• Maintain accurate and detailed logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and any access control issues encountered during shifts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possess a state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
